Seated in European fashion on his vehicle the roaring lion with his head turned towards the viewer and curling tail, his right hand raised and showing a form of vitarkamudra while the left is resting on his lap holding a manuscript, wearing various garments including a high-closed underskirt and a wide-sleeved mantle falling down his legs, closed at his belly with a belt hook, its border decorated with a raised design of scrolling tendrils, pair of shoes, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, smiling lips and his hair combed in a small chignon on top of his head fastened with a tiara, traces of gilt-lacquer.
